Sometimes I feel more machine than machine. In place of my heart, there is an uncanny valley. I'm synthetic, baby, uninstall me.

and so the chronicles of the creeper seem to be reaching their close. he apparently saw these posts about him which, again, confirms my suspicions that he has been visiting my blog REGULARLY since i blocked him YEARS AGO, and probably other social media pages of mine as well.

and so i’m posting this publicly because he chose to start talking about me publicly on both reddit and deviantart (who knows where else), using demeaning, condescending, and insulting language, but then when he finally addresses me “directly”, his language shifts to this almost guilt-inducing, ultra-rational tone. this, i believe, is manipulative behavior. this is yet another warning sign. the fact that he apparently had to go through such drastic lengths to stop himself from cyber-stalking me is very telling.

i hope for both our sakes that he’s telling the truth now, but i just want to state for the record that i will not hesitate to clap back again if i see him pulling this kind of thing in the future.

FUCK STALKERS

mrblackllp:

No, not S.T.A.L.K.E.R.s.  They’re alright…well, some of’em, anyway.  No, I mean stalkers; those fuckers that hound others incessantly out of some selfish assumption of their own importance in the lives of those others, who disregard all semblance of respect for that person in lieu of attempting to realize an impossibly idealized version of them, all while invading their privacy in the name of “appreciation” or “love.”

No, you do not need to tell me that many such stalkers are mentally ill, and that their actions are not entirely their fault.  I know that.  I disagree in many cases (presence of mind still allows one to alert others of one’s intent to act, and to therefore allow others to intervene where one’s own mental faculties can or will not), although I’m referring more to those of a closer to sane mental state anyway.

Those who commit such invasive crimes against the dignity of others, and who do so of nearly unclouded mind (I say nearly due to the fact that crossing such a line at all implies at least a certain level of instability) are worthy of nothing more than dismissive scorn.  Any more simply validates them of their own importance.  To those affected by such bipedal vermin, you’ve my sympathies.  Yes, and I am writing this as a means of venting my fury at the news that a friend of mine is currently experiencing a stalker’s “attentions.”

Should you too experience such abuse, I urge you:

- Call local law enforcement immediately.  They’ll likely tell you there’s little to do about it until a crime is committed, and that’s an unfortunate truth, but look into exactly what constitutes the legal definition of stalking in your county, state, country, or whatever’s applicable.  The second they cross that line, and you can prove it, report it.  If at all possible, let them handle it; it keeps you away from the stalker, and it doesn’t validate them with your own rejection.  Note, however, that upon their release from whatever incarceration they experience, they may very well return, restraining order or no.

- Educate yourself about local self defense statutes.  Know when you can act upon the preservation of your own safety, and how to do so.  Stalkers have no regard whatsoever for your personal privacy, and many get progressively more aggressive in their invasions of your person as time goes on.  I don’t need to spell out the possible results of this.  Whatever level of self-defense you’re comfortable employing, learn it, and learn it well, to the point of reflexive, instinctive action. If this requires the purchase of a weapon (and I personally suggest that it does, up to and including lethal force), do so, and learn the legal and logistical details of employing it should the need to do so arise.

- Discreetly tell others around you what is happening if it is safe to do so.  Whether it’s the neighbors next door, the desk clerk at work, or the security guard of your apartment complex/neighborhood/whatever, other people can simply keep more eyes out for a stalker than you can alone, and they can often intervene on your behalf to prevent them from accessing you without them even getting confirmation that you know they’re there or not.  Again, prevent them from getting what they want, and do so without validating their sense of self-importance in your life.

- If you must confront them, tell them in no uncertain terms that you want nothing whatsoever to do with them.  No, “just a coffee now and then” is not alright.  It’s a foot-in-the-door strategy, and they’re just going to start ramping up again from any interaction you allow them to have with you.  Cut it off cleanly and clearly.  No exceptions, save perhaps for court appearances to ensure that a restraining order empowers local law enforcement to step in on your behalf to a much greater degree than by default should they continue attempts to stalk you.

Stay safe out there, people.

Calling out my Stalker

Hey, I have to leave this blog because someone, despite telling them over and over again to leave me alone, won’t leave me alone. His name is Anthony Valedez(sp?) and he goes by the username horkbajir005. He also has the habit of following everything that I follow and he makes lots of weird, obsessive blogs about me. He also sends me anonymous hate mail.

So here’s to you, Anthony. Fuck off once and for all.

And for those who do matter, you’ll see me around. This is the end of this blog and I’m sad for it to be this way. But I’ll do anything it takes to get away from him.
